Where this begins
A career, and a firm, built twice.
My legal career began at sixteen, as a law clerk in Venezuela's criminal courts. By twenty-one I held a Juris Doctor. By 2012 I was managing partner of my own firm, representing clients at every level including the Supreme Court, mentoring junior attorneys, and teaching Constitutional Law and Criminal Procedural Law.
Among thousands of cases, about fifty involved politically sensitive human rights violations. As conditions in the country worsened, that advocacy placed me at personal risk. I was forced to seek protection in the United States, leaving behind family, friends, and everything I had built.
That experience changed how I understand law itself: not as an instrument of power, but as a tool for protection, dignity, and truth.
After receiving protection, I rebuilt from zero. For years I supported hundreds of clients as a paralegal in Colorado, preparing asylum cases, visa applications, and complex family matters. Today, licensed in Colorado and Missouri, I lead Inclusive Law Group, combining legal expertise with lived experience.
Inclusive Law Group is what came out of that arc. It isn't a brand built on top of a résumé. When I opened the firm in 2024, the goal was never to rebuild the practice I had lost. It was to build the one I had needed and hadn't always been able to find: rigorous enough for a matter that carries real financial and personal weight, and honest enough to tell a client when a full engagement isn't what their situation actually calls for.

Yes, I am empathetic, and I will hold space for your story. But compassion is not passivity. I will not reinforce patterns or beliefs that keep you stuck, and if something needs saying, I will say it clearly. My intention is not to keep you comfortable. It is to help you move, progress, and reclaim your footing, in court and outside it.
I don't believe anyone is defined by titles, degrees, or case wins. What matters is how we treat each other in life's heaviest moments.
When someone sits across from me facing divorce, an immigration crisis, or trauma, they don't need a title. They need someone who listens without judgment, speaks with clarity, and stays beside them until the storm passes. That is the attorney I work to be.
As a woman, an immigrant, and an LGBTQ+ professional, I understand cultural judgment, language barriers, and systemic bias, not as concepts, but as things I have moved through myself. I don't merely acknowledge those realities; I build legal strategy with them accounted for.

You'll find me driving scenic routes, then worrying about court-appropriate attire on Monday. I hike, camp on rooftops, paddleboard, and play volleyball with friends. I meditate, read astrology, and believe in energy.
My most important ritual is talking to my mother in Venezuela every single day. No exceptions.
I'm the product of a fierce Venezuelan mother and a sisterhood who taught me that our voices can change lives and that strength compounds when we lift each other, and of a MacGyver-level problem-solving father who gave me the analytical instinct to turn compassion into strategy.
